Stomata Put Leaf Slide Estimate Total Number Field

Front List the steps needed to investigate the distribution of stomata and guard cells on a leaf
Back
  1. Peel the epidermal tissue straight off the leaf and mount in on a slide.
  2. Using a pipette, put a drop off water onto the slide. Put a cover slip over the top.
  3. Put it on the microscope's stage and focus the microscope. Start with the least powerful objective lens and work the way up.
  4. Estimate the total number of stomata on the surface.
  5. Count the stomata you see in the field of vision and do this 3 times in different fields and find the average.
  6. Multiply the amount of field of visions in the area and multiply by the average.
  7. This gives us an estimate of the total number on stomata on the surface
